National Girl Child Day

January 24th is the National Girl Child Day and International Day of Education.
Interestingly, this day is an intersection of empowerment of girl child through quality education.
Girls’ education is the cornerstone for progress and empowerment – economic, social, psychological and structural. Without education, the most important element of our happy existence – self esteem and dignity is at a low. Every day, girls around the globe are trying to break different stigmatised barriers and attain their right tokjk education.
Girls have to be empowered to empower a nation and chart its way towards development.

On International Day of Education and National Girl Child Day, let’s all make the world a better place by doing our bit in bridging the gap and help girls raise their voice to fulfil their ambitions.
